  • Insurance is a kind of bet that is supposed to "insure" the player, in case the dealer has Natural or Blackjack. If the dealer shows an Ace, a player can make an insurance bet. It is paid 2/1. After placing the bet, the dealer checks what his Hole card is. If it is Natural, the player loses his initial bet but win his Insurance bet. If it is not Natural, the player loses his insurance bet and the game goes on with the initial bets.
  • Surrender is a move when you give and lose your bet.
  • Early Surrender is a move, when the dealer has one hole card and has not opened it yet. It saves ½ bet.
  • Double Down is asking the dealer for one more card and at the same time you double your initial bet. After this move, you automatically stand.
  • Even Money is being dealt Natural and you cash your bet right away but it is paid 1/1. You are doing it before the dealer opens his Hole card, and the showing card is an Ace.
  • Split Hand is hand where two cards are of the same value and you can split them to play separately.
  • Hard Hand is a hand where Ace is counted as 1.
  • Soft Hand is a hand where Ace is counted as 11.
